Chandigarh : Chandigarh mayor Asha Jaswal today sought support of NGOs in strengthening bond between Chandigarh Municipal Corporation and citizens. She said support of NGOs was crucial in keeping Chandigarh Clean and enhancing its beauty.

She was speaking on the occasion of launching of sticker with the message “Sehar Aapka Hai, isey swach rakhain. Aapke Prayaso Se Sehar Ki Khoobsoorti Nekhregi” prepared by Chandigarh chapter of Panchnad exhorting citizens to keep their city clean and exhorting them to make it more beautiful.

After unveiling the sticker with Panchnad Director Prof BK Kuthiala and Haryana Information Commissioner Bhupendra Dharmani in Chandigarh Press Club city Mayor talked to the young group of Chandigarh Chapter of Panchnad Research Institute and sought their support in achieving closer ties with city residents.

Panchnad Director Prof BK Kuthiala informed the mayor about the functioning of Panchnad and assure the mayor their entire team will help Municipal Corporation Chandigarh for the welfare of society and development of Chandigarh .
